Single Chip Morse Teacher


Wayne Downer built this single board computer using the then new Intel 8048 single chip microcomputer in 1978.

I ported the teach program and Wayne wrote a software auto-baud serial interface. This was some awesome programming because we only had 64 bytes of ram between us. Wayne later added a software scanned single character alpha-numeric display to his copy of the machine.
