The source code for morse is distributed as a compressed tar file. Expanding it will make lots of files so make a new directory before you do. In unix you would say something like: 

   mkdir scr
   cd scr
   tar xvzf ../m20040816.tgz
The following directory contains recent tar files. The digits in the name are year-month-day that the tar was posted.

Source is also stored on GitHub where our most recent versions are available.
